Located on a south-facing plateau, Alpe d'Huez is the ideal playground for ski, fresh air and wide open spaces lovers. From its height of 3,330 metres, served by an aerial cable car, the Pic Blanc dominates the 250 km of pistes that plunge down to the villages of Vaujany (1,250 m), Oz-en-Oisans (1,350 m), Villard-Reculas (1,480 m), Huez (1,500 m) and Auris-en-Oisans (1,600 m). The linked resorts retain the traditional charm of mountain villages. Each area offers a different atmosphere: glacier, pine trees, gorges, frozen lakes and wide open spaces.

For fans of aerobatics, discover aerial sports for ever more thrilling sensations. On the programme: flying in a plane, paragliding, helicopter, first flight and introductory flight in a tilting microlight or gyrocopter, to discover Alpe d'Huez from above.

For those who love to slide, there's permanent tobogganing on the slopes for unforgettable family moments. You can also go tobogganing on the Bergers slopes, a not-to-be-missed attraction for a thrilling ride. And for those who prefer sliding on ice, the Avenue des Jeux ice rink is the ideal playground for leisure or figure skating lessons.

The season kicks off with the FIS Mogul World Cup from 12 to 14 December 2025, where the world's best freestylers put on an extraordinary show!

On 4 and 5 January 2025, there's the Alpe d'Huez Cup, where champions between the ages of 9 and 16 leave nothing to chance and take advantage of the event to test their skills in a giant slalom.

From 13 to 19 January 2025, the 27th International Comedy Film Festival takes place for a week of comedy and laughter! What's not to be missed? Free previews of films, subject to availability!

From 27 to 31 January 2025, the Alpe d'Huez Team Work Sea and Mountain Trophy will be held. 15 teams made up of a sailor, a mountain dweller and a child from the resort will be competing in the Sea and Mountain Trophy. The champions compete against each other in a friendly atmosphere over a wide range of events. It's an opportunity for these adventurers to share their passion for waves and peaks while supporting a charity.

On 1 and 2 February 2025, it's time for the Game Over Festival: a ski-in/ski-out mountain event dedicated to virtual worlds, video games and pop culture!

On 8 and 9 March 2025, the Les Cristaux by Atomic et Vola race awaits 650 children aged 4 to 12 in a friendly but sporting atmosphere, where they will compete in a variety of skiing disciplines. Accompanied by their parents and coaches, these future champions will be giving their all to win a place on the podium...

The unmissable Tomorrowland Winter festival takes place from 15 to 22 March 2025. All the world's best DJs will be in Alpe d'Huez for a third year. The world's biggest electro music festival is back with a brand new line-up and a host of surprises. It's sure to be a feast for the eyes and ears!

From 24 to 29 March 2025, the Skiopen Coq d'Or is THE meeting place for the future stars of French skiing, giving all French skiers, from city dwellers to mountain dwellers, the chance to compete in a variety of skiing events.

On 30 March 2025, discover the Super Sarenne, the longest giant slalom ever organised, with almost 300 gates on the legendary Sarenne piste over more than 6 km, starting at the Pic Blanc at 3,330 m and finishing at 1,800 m. On the programme: good humour, competition, challenging yourself and festivities!

From 5 to 6 April 2025, discover the comics festival co-organised with Glénat Editions. The Alpe d'Huez Comics Festival transforms the ‘Île au Soleil’ into the ‘Île aux Bulles’, for a new encounter between the mountains and author-illustrators, with signing sessions, workshops and animated films.

On 5 and 6 April 2025, join the Coupe de la Fédération. The French Ski Federation and Alpe d'Huez, in partnership with SAMSE and with the support of Dauphiné Libéré - Ski Chrono, are organising the Federation Cup to promote competitive alpine skiing in France.

The instructors' challenge, from 13 to 19 April 2025, is 6 days of competitions, 25 events that bring together the entire ski and mountain world. A festive atmosphere guaranteed, with concerts, entertainment and evenings not to be missed. More than 2,000 instructors are expected to attend that week.
