A unique concept developed and practised exclusively by Grandes Rousses Hotel & Spa in Alpe d'Huez, Alpinothérapie® invites you to enjoy an exclusive wellness experience, discovering the virtues of the mountains. It capitalises on five fundamental elements: altitude, cold, light, minerals and plants. Alpinothérapie® draws on the natural resources of the Oisans region to offer you a unique wellness experience. Combined with physical and spiritual activities in the Alpe d'Huez mountain pastures to reconnect you with nature, and body therapies including massage, lithotherapy, light therapy and cryotherapy, these resources multiply the virtues of a stay in the mountains tenfold.

You will share a room in one of the hotel's two private chalets for Alpinothérapie® great journey. Each room is around 30 m² in size and has its own private bathroom, shower and toilet. The rooms are cleaned daily, and you benefit from the services of the 5* Grandes Rousse Hotel & Spa. Each of the two 250m² chalets has four bedrooms and a large communal living area. One of the chalets will be used for meals and relaxation. The communal areas of the second will be transformed into a Dojo for practising yoga, meditation and socialising.

Each day will be punctuated by yoga, walking and meditation sessions. You will discover the essentials of Alpinothérapie® treatments and benefit from individual and group treatments. The aqua-sensory area of the Spa des Alpes and the hotel rooftop will be at your disposal during opening hours.

Individual treatments

Throughout the day, a healthy buffet will be served in the lounge of one of the chalets: dried fruit, fresh fruit, cereals, herbal teas, detox water...

The first meal of the day is a buffet brunch served after the ritual of getting up.

The afternoon is a time for sweet and savoury snacks: juices, cakes, an assortment of raw vegetables, tarts, tea, chocolate...

Dinner is a time for sharing with one of our chefs, who will cook with you in the dining room of one of the chalets, using seasonal, local ingredients and even your pick of the day.

All dietary requirements can be catered for on request.
