Our house has been designed in the spirit of an Alpine chalet: easy to live in, intergenerational, cosy and warm. Les Mas'Hauts, small wood and glass chalets on the terrace of L'Espérance, are inspired by the Savoyard mazots used by our ancestors as larders. They were used to store salted meats, cereals and other foodstuffs to get through the harsh winters.
We wanted to preserve the mountain spirit of these mazots, inviting you to enjoy an authentic, modernised, warm and gourmet experience.

Our house and Alpe d'Huez have a lot in common, with their respective histories which began in the 1900s. In 1902 with the Café de l'Espérance Colomb in Huez and in 1936 with the first ski lift in Alpe d'Huez. These stories continue to be written hand in hand, with a shared passion for the mountains, whatever the season.
